Name Game: Week 2
Here she is! At 31 weeks she weighs 4lbs and maybe it's just me but I think I see dark hair on the top of her head:)
Okay clue number 2:
We really struggle with accents. It's not a racist thing because we are fully aware that we are the problem, however, ordering Chinese, Mexican, Italian (I know I shouldn't struggle with that!)food is always an issue. Don't even get me started on trying to get gas! That being said, our little girl is certain to have a name with it's origin from an English speaking country.
Bonus Clue: even though many African American names are made up in the US we are not counting them as English origin so you can stop looking at all the female basketball players for name ideas.
Happy guessing!

I'm gonna vote for Lindsay
Alicia
Hmmm...I like Lindsay, too. But what female athlete is named Lindsay?
Jennifer and Julie are pretty and English but I'm kinda stuck on Leslie right now because of Leslie Ludy.(based on a side conversation) Is there a female athlete named Leslie??
Mom M.
Im not sure. This all seems so complicated cause I have no idea if a name is English or not. I mean it just needs to sound good with DeVol, like Lailoni, Elizabeth or Jennifer. All of which are great atheletes (Some where).
Big Daddy
Jackie?
John's idea!
Lisa Letterman
hmm... I like Leslie also! I'll piggy-back on that this week. I'm going to try to listen VERY carefully when I hear Shannon talk about ANYTHING this entire weekend.... JUST to see if I pick up on any slight clue.... I'm all ears baby (that's right.... I'm talking to you, you little fetus!....or are you still an embryo?
Okay, English speaking countries and women athletes....already did basketball. Let's see, off the top of my head (!!!!!),Track and Field has Evelyn Ashford, Gail Devers, Florence Joyner, and Wilma Rudolph. Tennis has Althea Gibson, Rosemary Casals, Margaret Court, and Lindsay Davenport. (I'm trying not to repeat names already on the list!) Swimming has Marilyn Bell, Florence Chadwick, Gertrude Caroline Ederle, Janet Evans, Summer Sanders, and Amy Van Dyken. And Skating has Bonnie Blair, Peggy Gale Fleming, Dorothy Hamill and Barbara Ann Scott. If I had time to research, I might be able to come up with some more names. I hope I'm getting close!? Love, Aunt Linda
