Week 3/4
So this is scary right? Apparantly there is an exact genetic code that produces this look. Weird huh?
Well, even though Christin is not named after Laura she somehow manages to look freakishly like her. Beware our next child could look like you, but, she won't be named after you. Her first name is unique to both our families (I think, I didn't do extensive research, but if it happens to appear somewhere in our lineage it's just a coincidence.)
Happy Guessing!
PS. For anyone who doesn't know, that is my cousin Laura.

Well, I have to say I am a little disappointed to have to rule out my own name, but I guess I'm relieved to know that it won't be Edith, Olga or Hazel. I'm feeling a little bit stumped, though. I think I'll guess Lisa this week. Technically, this is a family name (my cousin)but that is somewhat removed and I feel like there is some basketball player or something named Lisa. Anyway, that's my guess!
Nana
Just off the top of my head, with NO RESEARCH at all(!), some beach volleyball players with English sounding names that haven't been used in our families yet. There's the two Kerris, Pottharst and Walsh-Jennings, and Carrie Busch. Don't forget Natalie Cook, Misty May-Treanor, or Allison Block. What about Monica Vibiero, Angela Silva and Carolina DaCosta, although they are Brazilian have American-type names. Finally, there's Holly McPeak, Robyn Ah Mow, Nicole Audette, and Mary Baily, whose name is also from "It's A Wonderful Life", a favorite Minter holiday film! I'm sure there are more names that I could list if I did a little research! I hope this helps! All my love, Aunt Linda
P.S. Did I just see lightning?!?
Well, after weeks of extensive labor, I feel that the computer hacking I was able to do on the DeVol's computer has narrowed the names down to two choices: Ulrika, the old english name meaning "Wolf Ruler," or Sarah, a name adopted from Tara (Shannon's sister, of course) and Sam Wise Gamgee, a character from one of George's favorite books.
Joel
I'm still sticking with Anne/Anna (which has been my guess all along though this is the first time I've officially "blogged" it). My second option is Elizabeth, it's English and as far as I can think, unused in our families. And it's too popular for there to be NO female athletes with the name.
--Aunt Tara
P.S. and by the way...I love Anna so if it's that I'm still using it for one of my kids. Deal with it.
I'm trying again. I like Michelle but others already guessed that, so I'll pick Grace.
mom-mom
I'm in this to win!!!!!!!!!!!The names are: Babe or Tiger.
